About Rine & Rine
In 1964 John Rine, armed with little more than his hand tools, began a home building tradition that grows stronger with each passing decade.
In 1974, John’s son Gary joined him in the business. At this time the business name changed from John Rine Builders to Rine and Rine Builders. The father and son partnership whose founding principles were hard work, honesty and integrity, were rewarded year after year with continued success. The duo was constantly striving for quality craftsmanship using the highest quality materials while maintaining value prices. Value in a Rine home was something that set the stage for growth that was to come. Over the years, Rine & Rine Builders would become one of the areas leading homebuilders.
After John’s retirement in 1983, Gary became the sole owner of Rine and Rine Builders. Gary continued with the core principals he and his father had come to know as second nature. With building homes “in the blood” you might say it was only natural that Gary’s sons, Darrin and Curt, began to work with their father. During this period, Rine and Rine Builders reputation began to grow even further. This growth was almost entirely by word of mouth.
At 27 years old, Darrin became a full partner. Rine and Rine once again had two Rines at the helm. The addition of Darrin brought on a new level of growth for the business. In 1996, they undertook a large townhouse project in Shippensburg. That project, Rine Village, was the perfect answer to the” low maintenance housing question in Shippensburg.
In 2000, it was once again time for change in the leadership of the company. With Gary bowing out to retirement, Curt came on as a full partner. Curt immediately went to work making certain that Rine and Rine Builders would stay a leader by ensuring that they were using only the best methods and materials in their construction.
At present Rine and Rine Builders builds a home to suit every need, from one and two story low maintenance town homes to a variety of single family homes. Rine and Rine Builders offer land home packages or custom build on your lot. Rine and Rine Builders has many communities throughout the Cumberland Valley. No matter what your age or need Rine and Rine Builders has a home to suit you.
Rine and Rine Builders is now a strong company that not only stands behind their work, but also behind their community. They have helped numerous community members with their housing needs during times of great loss. They are also well involved in community, as well as being a major supporter of Little League.
As third generation builders both Curt and Darrin continually strive to operate Rine & Rine Builders Inc. in a manner that would make their father and grandfather proud.
